Vocational Assessment Programs - Defined The Vocational Assessment Program is designed to assist supported employment programs and case managers in identifying adults with developmental disabilities who are "job ready". Barriers to employment lie in numerous facets of these adult's lives. Only by using an assessment program which identifies these barriers can they be addressed and eliminated.
The situational assessment program will serve adults with developmental disabilities who do not exhibit behaviors which may be harmful to themselves or others; and possess basic self-help skills which may be reasonably accommodated. Referrals to this program must be made by a Department of Rehabilitation Counselor. |
